If anyone still reads this, I’m alive! And I updated because I felt like it.

Looking at my webbies makes me sad now. I don’t know why, but it does! Like kind of depressed. I have a few of them out, but the rest are in my closet.

My account expires in September, so I’ll end up getting one sooner or later. Webkinz really were a crazy fad, weren’t they? That I fell victim too. I have a tendency that when I like something, I go crazy over it and have to have everything.

This is post 400 and I have over 100,000 hits. I have to say that this blog was pretty successful in its younger days. The peak was August 2008, where I was averaging about 11,000 hits a month. Now it’s barely at 100!

Well anyways, I still do love my webbies. I’m such a freak.

Can you believe it? I actually updated. Not that anyone reads this anymore.

Some notes:
1) I do still like my webkinz. I’m not so obsessive, though. I haven’t gotten a new one since October, but I have to soon otherwise my account will expire.

2) I don’t log on much anymore since I think ganz has totally over commercialized the whole thing. Plus, some of the new unnaturally colored kinz are just ugly.

3) I have new interests, etc. and not much time to update this. Not that I want to.

The main point is I still love my webbies. I’m a sucker for stuffed animals. But most are in my closet, a few are on my bed. But, hopefully that will change when I reorganize my room.

Yeah, I’ve alive. And this blog has 101,000 hits. Wow. Thanks everyone! I still love my webbies, though I’m not obsessed. I really want to get the llama though!

My new webkinz blue google!

I got a blue google! A store near me was having a sale and webkinz were $9. I might go back and get another one

Anyways, I named her Libby Lou She’s really cute, and now I have all the googles! My original white one, Gabby, the lil googles Marshmallow, pink googles Suzy Zu, and now blue googles Libby Lou!

I’ve wanted this guy for a while, so I finally broke down and got him. I named him Banana Bommerang, because I couldn’t choose which name I liked best, and just because I can. I don’t have any pictures right now, sorry.

Some of the new webkinz pets are kinda cute.

I looked back at my posts from a year ago, to when my blog first started, and wow has it changed! I was just getting into computers when I started this blog… I really had no idea what I was doing! I see how I’ve grown up over the past few years, and how my interests in webkinz have changed. I see how webkinz/Ganz has changed. The webkinz used to be cute, and a nice size release of 2 or 3 plushes. Now there’s about 10 webkinz every month (most of them aren’t that cute, like the cerry blossom bird, etc.) the EStore, all these new products, and I can observe, just from my posts, how Ganz has went downhill because all they care about now is the money.

I miss the old days where webkinz was just a nice environment. When there was oodles of bloggers that had the same interest as I did.

I just needed to vent,

I got a new webkinz!

I was on vacation and I got the webkinz signature raccoon. They’re expensive, but the lady at the store saw me looking at them, and said the boss wanted to get rid of all of the webkinz (not a huge money maker any more, costing the store more money to keep them in stock and they’re not selling) so she gave me 25% off. Plus, he had some sticky stuff on his tail which was another reason I got a discount.

I named him Rascal. I like the signature pets. They’re very soft, and bigger than normal webkinz.

This is my first new webkinz since Valentine’s day :O

I want to get the signature chimpanzee and the webkinz eagle next. For the chimpanzee I was name it Banana or Boomerang, or both. The eagle would be Liberty Jane.

I really want to like my webkinz again, but I can’t. Sometimes I wish I only had 10, like I did in the early days. I really liked webkinz for a while, but when I like something I get excessive and have to have everything. LIke I was into American Girl dolls for a while, and I have 21 which is insave. With my webkinz, I have over a hundred, that’s a lot of money spent on them. And now they’re all just stuffed in garbage bags in my closet.

I’m trying to like them again, but I just can’t. I guess it’s because I was so into them for a while, that they just lost their appeal. I think it’s also Ganz’s fault. They’ve made webkinz into a huge money maker, they don’t even care anymore, they just want more money. Not a lot of people like webkinz anymore. Lots of stores around me have stopped carrying them alltogether.

The webkinz blogosphere has shriveled up and died. No one except for gymboutiques, atmomicolicious/kinzblog, and webkinzinsider eve are left.

Everyone else like me, elm, rose, etc. have stopped blogging and lost interest.

I’m close to 100,000 hits, though.

So, how does everyone like the new exclusives! I like them, especially the moon rover! That would go perfect in my space themed room.

Well, all my pets are still on the low health/hunger/happiness. I was looking at my pets, and noticed that I haven’t played with most of a lot of them since July ’08!!! I mean, WOW! That’s almost a year. I also looked at the adoption dates. I used to get a webkinz almost every week. I haven’t gotten a new one for months now.

So, how’s everyone? It was really hot today, so I went to the beach. It was a lot of fun! Then it started storming though, so we had to go home.
